Dr Kelly Pearce
Chief Executive Officer
Our Chief Executive Officer, Dr Kelly Pearce, is a Grain and Sheep Producer from Yealering, Western Australia, along with her young family.
Kelly has had an 18-year career in Agricultural Research. Kelly holds various ministerial appointments- as the Deputy Chair of the Western Australian Meat Industry Authority, Director of the Biosecurity Council of WA and an Advisory Member of the Gene Technology Technical Advisory Committee with the Office of the Gene Technology Regulator. Kelly is also a Director of the Grower Group Alliance (Chair from 2016-2018) and a Committee Member of the WA Sheep & Goat Industry Funding Scheme Management Committee.
Kelly is a 2012 Nuffield Scholar, Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and a Research Fellow with the Australian Farm Institute.
Business Manager/Deputy CEO
Bronwyn grew up in Corrigin and now lives in Wickepin with her husband, who runs a successful earthmoving business, with their two adult children now grown up and left home to pursue their own careers.
With a strong background in local government as well as office management, Bronwyn brings some incredible skills to our group in financial and project management, health and safety, project development and much more.
She holds a Diploma in Local Government Administration and Certificate IV in Accounting and Bookkeeping.
Bronwyn joined our team in March 2022 and is excited to be back in the Facey Group community, having previously worked at Facey Group as the Administration Manager before moving into the local government world with the Shire of Wickepin then Shire of Cuballing.
Agricultural Research & Extension Coordinator
Amy grew up in Bullaring and was schooled locally at Yealering, Corrigin and Narrogin. She studied Animal Science/Health at Murdoch University, before completing her Honours in lamb survival in 2017.
Since graduating university, Amy has worked for CBH and Nutrien in merchandise sales, specialising in Animal Health.
In 2020, in addition to employment, Amy commenced a Diploma of Agronomy via distance education, which she completed in October 2021.
Amy joined Facey Group as the Agricultural Research and Extension Coordinator in February 2021.
Amy’s favourite aspect of working for the Facey Group is connecting with a diverse and innovative range of producers and industry members, who are dedicated to enhancing sustainability and productivity within the local farming region.
Born & bred in Perth, Emily has worked predominately in the insurance industry.
Emily, her husband Matt and their two kids, decided on a country change in 2015 and relocated to Yealering and then to Wickepinin 2018.
She spent a number of years at home with the kids before moving into a casual role at NAB, between the Corrigin & Narrogin branches.
Emily joined the Facey Group team in February 2020 and loves the variety of the role and working within the community, meeting lots of new people and constantly learning new things.
Agricultural Technology Coordinator
Alec comes from a local farming family near Popanyinning, and almost 10 years ago, started training as an auto electrician in the mining industry. He went on to study Agribusiness at Muresk, before moving into an assistant managers role at a corporate farm.
He then worked in a technical and sales support role for a multinational farm machinery company. His specialty areas were harvesters, tractors and precision farming.
This diverse range of experiences has led Alec to form his own business where he has been providing a unique service to farmers and machinery dealers covering all aspects of precision farming. Most of his time is occupied diagnosing, repairing and installing GPS equipment and rate controllers, as well as performing paddock mapping and data management.
Communications & Engagement Coordinator
Katrina comes from Harrismith and is part of a family farming business.
She has a Bachelor of Business, Major in Marketing, from ECU and is extremely excited to put this into action promoting both the Facey Group and the agricultural industry in the local and broader community.
Having grown up on a farm in Boyup Brook and being part of various agricultural businesses in her employment career, she has a passion for all things agriculture and is thoroughly enjoying being part the team at Facey Group.
Katrina commenced in her role as Communications & Engagement Coordinator in October 2021.
